Lake Sylvenstein
What a wonderful scene at the Sylvenstein reservoir! I love this moment when the morning mist creates almost surreal landscapes. The Sylvensteinspeicher is an artificial lake, fed by the River Isar, located in the south of Bavaria, nestled in a magnificent Alpine landscape and surrounded by dense forest.

Skógafoss
The beautiful Skógafoss Waterfall in Southern Iceland, one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of 60 meters and a width of 15 meters and one of the most popular places to visit in Iceland. The breath-taking view of Skogáfoss waterfall and scenic surroundings are some of Iceland’s major attractions.

Back to Munich
On our flight back to Munich early in the morning I captured this view of the Bavarian countryside. I find it quite amazing how evenly spread all these little farms are.

Suspension
Created by Björn KindlerOn our second leg we had to pass several suspension bridges. The Hillary Bridge is one of the better-known ones and even had an appearance in the 2015 movie “Everest”.

Hidden in Clouds
Getting up early to return to Lukla we’re treated with a spectacular view: Mount Lhotse hiding in clouds in the most beautiful fashion we could possibly imagine.
